(9/8/14) Where beat-up, walked-out shoes are in style

Woah, where to begin??

First off, thanks for all the 'happy hump day' letters, I'm happy to inform you that I still have THREE DAYS until I'm there. So I'm gonna enjoy being young while I've got it. The mission has just been so good for me, I really am a better person becaue of it. I know for a fact I was supposed to come here, this mission has taught me more about life than school, or going to church ever could. 

okay.. sorry, spritual/serious-me just comes out a lot easier than before. 

Whoo.

We are just on fire out here, not so much with the temperature (its been cooling down). But the work is just blooming! Blooming like a bunch of spring daisys or tulips.. not exactly sure what blooms in spring. As a zone our baptismal goal for september is 3-8. THIRTY EIGHT. That has never happened is the history of this mission. We have some pairs who are shooting for 8 baptisms just for the companionship. One of our sisters said there were 24 investigators in church! We are definitely done planting seeds and starting to gather that fruit. I really hope we can work to make that number a reality. LETS DOOO IT!!

In our area, we have been having similar excitement. We have, right now, 4 families we are teaching and 3 of them are going for marraige. We have made some monster progress with a couple we contacted. Isabel and Jovanni weren't with it when we contacted them, but after some dynamite lessons, the last one the restoration movie, they have said they feel with surety the message is true. It's like missionary insulin to have investigators feeling the spirit and then see them at church on sunday. I LOVE IT. I love that I can be the difference for so many people, cause if not us, than who?

Shoutout to that beautiful mother of mine. In her honor, our mission will be going to the temple Sept 19. Two weeks and we're there. We've been studying a lot about the Lord's temple in our study and we hope to have the best experience possible. Then after that on the 26? I think it's the 26, we have stake conference. And then boom just like that October Conference. Man, we've got a good line-up coming.
