(9/15/14) Yo quiero tener un millon de amigos, así más fuerte poder cantar‏

What a wild transfer it has been. Wild wild wild. I'm completely confident in saying these 6 weeks have passed by faster than any other 6 week period in my life. I've been running around from one place to the next and sleep like a dead man during the night. It's the best.

Had a great time, Thurday, celebrating one year. I went ahead and made peach cobbler for all 6 that made it HALF WAY. Whoo hooo! This year is gonna be even better.

We have had a lot of success here in the area. We had all six of our ''progressing investigators'' in church sunday, AND the light stayed for all three meetings so this time we had fans and were not melting from the heat. We have right now 3 families that we're working with to get them all mearried and more comfortable with the idea of baptism. It's not all that hard when we keep having just bomb lessons where the spirit is just filling up every bone in your body. Our cool investigators all live a littl farther out and it's (more ofthen than not) dead silent during out lessons. Along with bringing members out with us to teach, it's helping our friends want to change.

I love seeing the change we've made with the members here and the investigators we've found. When I got here, the ZL's focused on the area but because we have to leave the area from time to time, some investigators dwindle and kind of go out just like a fire. But these member's we've befriended VISIT the investigators and that helps more than anything.

That's what makes me just stoked about visiting these guys, they're always ready to learn and always have awesome questions. I love seeing people make good decisions that help them on their way to testimony.

Okay,, there went my rant on how much I'm loving this area. We did get to baptize one of our ''dry members''. She, after two years of investigating with the church and a dozen different pairs of elders, took her turn in the font. She asked if I would baptize, and along with 8 others from our stake, we had a great service and a very memorable baptism for her and us.

We've got a full week coming at us: Tomorrow, an all-day meeteing in the capital. Thursday - zone conference. Friday - T E M P L E. Saturday, another dry member, Urbano, (1 1/2 years with the church) is getting baptized with his grandson. Then boom, just like that the week is done!

We'll see you then.

Have a grand week indeed
