(7/21/14) Workin in the Sauna...‏

Excellent week. Theres a Kieth Urban song called ''days go by'' and it says somethine like:
Days go by! I can feel em' flying like a hand out the window when a car goes by. But man, thats just how it's been lately. Between Zone Conference, more than 2 companion exchanges a week, making repeated trips to the stake center on foot, and with keeping our planners full of people to share.
We keep ourselves really busy.

I'm thinking right now I'm the most busy I've been on the mission if not my whole life. And that's no lie.

And family, Thank you for supplying the month rashon of that delectable milk from that gossner dairy. It's beyond words and combo-ed with a frozen banana puts me in that sweet disposition to relax and focus on the day.
I miss that glass-of-milk-for-lunch routine a lot.

We were not able to have our kindergaten all get baptized this past saturday. We postponed for the following, just for some small things we needed to sort out. But we were able to baptize and confirm our precious gem, Antia. She is 9 years old and has been going to church with a neighbor for a couple months now, and she is just a smiley happy, braids hair for fun kind of girl. She'll be just fine and told us she wants to serve a mission when she grows up. The memory isn't working like it should, so I'll see what I can do to send photos of the baptism next week.

Our trio of almost 2 months was put to death today. Elder Lasso goes back to the CCM to stay the night and will fly out in the morning. It pretty much stinks that I have to repeat the process in only 3 weeks more with Elder Peterson. I wish I could peg a picture to show you what they all look like. They're good missionaries and served honorable missions. Your can just feel it when you're talking to them.

I wanna sum this all up with a thought we left with our missionaries during our meeting for the zone.

It's a simple and a brief scripture, but with where the meeting was going I felt it was appropriate to share.

32 But all things must come to pass in their time.
33 Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great.
34 Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind; and the willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land of Zion in these last days.

This little scripture tells us our attitude and the way we use our time will be rewarded with the good of the land (blessings). And its not just on the mission where we oughtta be smart in the way we use our time. Because as with all things, our time is a gift from god. can't remember the reference, but the scriptures tell us ''How much more does our heavenly father give us good gifts to those who ask him..'' So remember, our time is important and we must be smart and aware with the time we've been given.

Love you to the moon

Elder Tate
